As the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands allows locals and visitors the chance to sample fantastic cuisines from all over the world and at every price point. But even with the incredibly wide choice we have, it’s all too easy to get stuck in a bit of a rut when it comes to dining out. Cayman Restaurant Month, held annually in October, is a brilliant way to open up new foodie possibilities and help you make the leap into new culinary adventures.
Organised by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA), Cayman Restaurant Month sees participation from a wide selection of some of Cayman’s best-loved restaurants, all of which offer a low fixed price for lunch and dinner. They often provide delicious wine pairings, too, to complement the dining offerings. In this way, Cayman’s restaurants can reach out to a far wider group of diners who can take advantage of some great deals on first-class cuisine.
Hollie Whitelocke, manager, marketing and operations with the CITA, says they are proud to host Cayman’s very own Restaurant Month. “This popular annual event offers diners the opportunity to immerse themselves in Cayman’s unique culinary scene at fixed prices throughout the month of October. The variety and sheer number of restaurants in Cayman, coupled with impeccable Caymankind service and annual events such as CITA’s Restaurant Month and Taste of Cayman, have contributed to Cayman’s reputation as a foodie paradise,” she confirms. “In addition to our white-sand beaches, wonderful people and warm tropical climate, Cayman’s top-class culinary scene offers travellers another great reason to visit the Cayman Islands.”
