With the world moving towards change and being more eco-conscious, Tony Williams, owner and managing director of Tony’s Toys, is making sure he is offering clean and efficient car options.
Why did you choose to provide eco-conscious vehicles to Cayman?
Whenever I make a decision, the main thing that I have to consider is sustainability. How can I sustain and increase my impact in my business? The best way is to be environmentally conscious as well as fiscally responsible. That is why we chose to bring in hybrid cars — because they are the best option for an island like Cayman.
How can eco-conscious vehicles make a difference?
They are environmentally much friendlier and pollute the air drastically less, but they also cost less up front, have substantially lower duty and cost less to run. Hence, they will last longer and won’t be filling up our landfills.
Are you noticing that there is demand for eco-conscious cars?
Yes, there has been a large demand. And the Island is becoming more and more equipped for hybrid and electric cars with plug-ins available at most major locations at this time.
Tony’s Toys not only sells hybrid cars but also offers monthly leasing programmes for visitors who are spending their time in Cayman. tonystoys.net
