Cayman Island Cruise Ship Schedules
Cruise ship schedules available from the Cayman Port Authority are searchable by cruise ship name and by date here.

Visiting by cruise ship
The cruise ship pier in George Town, Grand Cayman is not accessible for cruise ships to dock alongside, so the port requires all cruise ships to tender their passengers from ship to shore (using smaller boats or ferries referred to as "tenders"). Passengers disembark from their tender on Harbour Drive across the street from where the main shopping district is located. Visitors should be aware that driving in the Cayman Islands is on the "left" (or opposite the direction in the USA). Be alert and look in the direction of oncoming traffic before crossing the street!

Currency
The Cayman Islands dollar has a fixed exchange rate with the US dollar, generally CI$1.00=US$1.25, or CI$0.80=US$1.00.

Tipping
Check your bill to see if the tip is included. If not, 15-20% is the norm for good service for restaurant wait staff and bartenders. You may also consider tipping $10-$25 for a great day on the water. Charter, dive and sportfishing boat crews appreciate tips and split them among the crew.
