Anchor & Den welcomes you to explore your inner most desires at Dark Night.
New-age spirituality has found Grand Cayman in the form of Dark Night at Anchor & Den, in the Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort. Held on the Friday closest to the new moon, Anchor & Den welcomes you to set intentions, drink celestially themed cocktails, nibble on holistic bites, create vision boards and mingle with other spiritually enlightened individuals.
Dark Night is a completely new concept on Grand Cayman. When asked what inspired Anchor & Den to create such an event, Laura Skec, Director of Sales and Marketing, says, “We believe that there is a growing and thriving holistic community in Cayman that appreciates honouring the celestial cycles of Mother Earth.
We wanted to create a sacred space that resonates with these Light Workers whilst also providing the opportunity for like-minded individuals to gather and connect.” And that they have.
Anchor & Den chose to host Dark Night events on the New Moon because of the extra power it brings to setting intentions. Guests who attend the event can expect to find Anchor & Den transformed into a sacred space, complete with candlelight, vibrating tunes and smoking white sage. Skec adds, “The atmosphere during the event is very special — there isn’t anything like it on Island. People come to enjoy the fabulous food and unique ambience, as well as to mingle with like-minded individuals.”
Those that attend the event also have the opportunity to leave a lasting impact by writing an intention and placing it on the intention trees. The intentions are collected and are currently being turned into a book.
There are some exciting twists to look forward to for future Dark Night events. For more information about the event, visit facebook.com/AnchorAndDen.
